In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week our Lactation Celebration highlights our 3rd month of our Community Milk Depot and Dispensary for Donor Milk  being opened and its grant launch with our local Milk Bank for families to increase their duration of breastmilk to their newborns. We honored local Lactation Champions in community and local lactation resources.  We continued the month with Black Breastfeeding Week (Aug 26-31st) with a pop up in the park ( was rained out ) and 2 giveways baskets valued at over $750.00.
